Client handoff: agency to engineering

The problem

Agencies own the design; the client's engineering team owns the build. The handoff is the most expensive part of the project — every ambiguity becomes a billable round-trip.

The workflow

1. Step 1

   Run the review on staging

   Pull up the staging URL. Open Design Mode. As decisions land, make the changes in the panel.

2. Step 2

   Bundle the spec

   Export the Changes tab as JSON + markdown. Attach screenshots.

3. Step 3

   Send to the client's engineers

   Engineering reads the structured spec and ships. Optional: their AI agent applies it automatically.

The outcome

Fewer billable rounds. Cleaner handoff. Happier clients.
